Wilson County is a county situated in the state of Texas. The county seat of Wilson County is Floresville. James Charles Wilson is the namesake of the county. He was an early settler and a state legislator. The latest Indian tribes that roamed the area were the Comanche, Lipan Apache, Karankawa, etc. The Anglo-American settlers arrived in the 1840s and Polish and German immigrants came in the 1860s.
