Don't miss this vibrant Amarillo experience!
The Golden Spread Farmers Market operates every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, starting at 7 am until stocks last. The market features a cooperative of Panhandle area farmers, all located within a 150-mile radius of Amarillo. These dedicated vendors grow their own fruits, vegetables, and fresh-cut flowers, ensuring the produce's exceptional freshness and flavor.
To bring you the best quality, participating farmers carefully harvest their crops on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, preparing them for the market the following day. As Ronnie Kimbrell, a farmers market board member, puts it, "The only way you can get it any fresher is if you grow it yourself."
Given its popularity, the Golden Spread Farmers Market may be small in size, but it's a must-visit. Make sure to get there early to secure the finest selection!
