Together with his wife Theresa, they came up with a brilliant idea – selling their farm's food on-site. In 2000, they realized this vision by constructing an on-site grocery store.
Visitors to the farm can enjoy not only retail produce but also "pick-your-own" activities during strawberry season, a hit with kids. Atkinson Farms also participates in various local farmers' markets, offering seasonal produce.
