Review of Barber Shop Brewhouse by TexasRealFood

The Barber Shop Brewhouse has a really interesting history. It all started with the Good Life Barber Shop, owned by Ryan and Debbie Vidotto (a mother-and-son team), opened in 2006. In 2018, they opened a second location at a unique 1940s vintage train car, and thus, The Good Life Barber Car was born. After putting up four seats at the new location, however, there was still some space left. By chance, Ryan met Jordan Costello, a homebrewer with amazing skills. With “one having space and one having brewing skills”, Ryan and Jordan established a brewery at one end of the railcar. They called it The Barber Shop Brewhouse.

The brewery is a merger of two American traditions, according to its owners. Each craft “requires a high level of precision and attention to detail” and each contributes to their patrons’ unique experience.

Released in Spring 2019, the brewery’s first creation is the Low Fade Hazy IPA.
