In 2001, two friends were drinking beers and discussing “what-ifs”. It took these same friends over a decade to build what they had initially discussed back in 2001.
Finally open in 2013, the brewery is named after an actual busted sandal the same two friends found at the parking lot of the place where they had just been drinking and discussing their dreams. To them, the sandal represented a good life lived. That is exactly the kind of beers they want to create – beers that creates fun, fond memories.
