Review of Collin County Farmers’ Market by TexasRealFood

The Collin County Farmers’ Market is founded by Kari Gates of Spring Creek Organic Farm, Plano and former Frisco market manager Scott Merner. You’ll only find what’s fresh and in season here, and the people running the place (who also work every Saturday as vendors) are constantly reviewing the products to make sure they are truly made in Texas and not merely being repackaged. "Most Saturdays, you can also check out a free class on topics like drip irrigation or canning". Also, "every few months, the farmer’s market has special events with live music and fun family activities". At this market, "leashed dogs are always welcome". And, " your kids can play on the giant playground next to the booths". Also, "there are around 30 vendors each weekend". Furthermore, the market is open from April through October.
