Patrick heads up The Lone Star Plate, discussing food, life, and everything in between with Texan celebrities. The former owner of BOCA food truck with 15 years experience in the restaurant business, Armstrong’s relationship with food is deeply tied with his Mexican-American roots. He has been featured in Travel+Leisure Magazine, the Austin Chronicle, the Austin Statesman, D Magazine, Eater, Rolling Stone, and has appeared on Fox, ABC and NBC local affiliates doing cooking segments. He’s worked with Apple, Dell, eBay, the Showtime Channel and the Recording Academy (Grammys) as well as with the nonprofit Keep Austin Fed.
