Lara Vineyard is the only vineyard in Bexar County. This is a "great small place to have some wine with your significant other or your friends". It is "a beautiful location for private events with wonderful wine and delicious brick oven pizza". "The views are awesome and there is always a nice breeze". Try the "Cabernet Sauvignon" which is "very light" and has "an excellent taste". You may even have "a chance to try their wine made from a hibiscus flower (no grapes)" which is "really good". They will make you "feel right at home" and they are "very educational" in giving "background on their wines".

The Stray Grape Urban Winery

You "may wonder how a winery can be in a nondescript strip mall" but "do not let the location stop you from visiting". The Stray Grape Urban Winery "is a cute little place on the northeast side of town". This "place is really nice and relaxing" with "live music". They only produce 30 bottles at a time and each wine contains low-sulfides for freshness aside from decreased headaches. Aside from being a "great place to try new wines", you will also be "impressed with the service" when you visit. The staff is also "very helpful if you are not sure what your tastes in wine are". You can even "bottle your own wine and create labels if you have an event or something".

Threshold Vineyards is a vineyard and winery near Navasota, Texas. They sell wine, offer wine tasting, and they have a great location for picnics. It does not have to be a special occasion you have been planning to celebrate for months. It could be a simple weekend break from a stressful workweek. Threshold Vineyards has everything you need for a soothing respite with nothing but rest and relaxation. The Lone Star International Wine Competition (LSIWC) is the oldest wine competition in Texas. Their Tempranillo and Monastrell are the wines that have won bronze medals. You can find these wines and their other wines at selected wine shops, tasting rooms, and restaurants in the San Antonio and Hill Country regions. You can also buy their wines at their online shop.
