Owners are completely down to earth and pleasurable to visit with, and they will make you feel right at home. This winery is the perfect place for any memorable meeting or celebration.  You can enjoy drinking wine under the tree outside. Some of the fantastic wines you can find here include the 2017 Syrah Rosé, 2018 Windstrewn, 2014 Cuvée Blanc de Blanc, 2017 Chardonnay, 2016 Mourvèdre, 2016 Old Vine Zinfandel, 2017 Alicante Bouschet, and 2015 Souzão which they currently offer online.

Flanigan's Distillery & Winery is located in a charming 1904 building in Bertram, Texas just Northwest of the historic Bertram Train Depot. The owners have a mad scientist approach to modern crafting of wine and distilled spirits. "Do a Wine and Spirit flight" and have "the best tasting experience". Step back in time and have "an Irish Whiskey Smash" and belly up to their old-fashioned bar. Relax in one of their Irish style “snugs” or hang out in the courtyard. Wherever you decide to relax and enjoy, get your “Irish” up for Flanigan’s exceptional wine and spirits. You will enjoy a conversation and "seeing the preservation of an old building".

KFire Winery and Vineyard

KFire Winery and Vineyard is a "hidden gem in the middle of the countryside where you can enjoy good wine and the company of locals". "A quaint winery" which is "located just north of Liberty Hill in Bertram off 183N and County Road 212". The owner is a "retired fireman, and you will find touches of former fire fighting equipment and artifacts throughout the tasting room". If "you enjoy firefighter items and good wine then you need to find your way to them". Their "Cadet" has a "very original flavor for a blush wine". Their "Ladder 19" is also "excellent", "bold and flavorful". Make sure to "bring your FD patch" so you can "trade it in for a free glass of wine". You can see "several already up on the wall with some from other states as well".

Perissos Vineyards

Perissos Vineyards is "located right in the valley of Inks Lake State Park" which is "about an hour out from Austin". You will be "completely enchanted by the ambiance" and "you'll see vineyards galore" which is "breathtakingly beautiful". This place "is most reminiscent of Napa". All of the wines are "super but the reds and dessert wines" will "stand out" for anyone. Also, you can be "lucky" when "show up on a pizza day" since "Gil can cook almost as good as he makes wine". He is also a "beekeeper" so check out their "sweet supply of local honey".

Spicewood Vineyards was first planted in 1992 and has now grown to 22 acres. Since then, they have been producing distinguished Texas Hill Country wines that are known for their timeless appeal and exceptional character. Their vineyard has many different varieties growing with an emphasis on Spanish and Portuguese grapes. You will experience a "laid back feel" and will be amazed by the "beautiful lush vineyards". Their place has a "great outdoor patio with a fabulous cross breeze" with a "fun feel and great wines". They are "very accommodating to individual tastes for wine tastings". Texas Legato Winery has been serving award-winning wines since 2007. Their name came from the word Legato which is an Italian word that means a gathering together of family or friends. You will find this place a great gathering place for family and friends. You will also be "impressed with the owners and their wine". They are "generous, kind, welcoming, and pleasure to be around". Their "outdoor seating is plentiful and has beautiful views of the winery". Visit and "enjoy sipping a glass on their comfortable covered porch overlooking the vineyard!" It is "absolutely a lovely place to hang out" and "is worth the drive".

Torr Na Lochs Vineyard and Winery is a "family-owned and operated winery", "it's an absolute must-visit if you're" in the Highland Lakes area of the Texas Hill Country. They are "particularly easy to reach from the north side of Austin". The winery has "great views of Inks Lake and Lake Buchanan in distance in the hill country". Their wines are "flavorful and delicious" and they have a "decent selection of red and whites". Their "blood-red Texas Star Tempranillo is a standout, though there are three whites that also deserve your attention - the sweet Muscat Blanc, the Fion Geal, and the slightly drier Albarino".
