Cooley Bay Winery is the only Winery in the city of Van Alstyne and famous for its signature drink, "The Cooley", this winery is "located just a tad more than 40 miles directly north of Dallas (in the Texoma AVA), and immediately near its Highway 75 exit". Hidden Hangar Vineyard and Winery in Denison, Texas is a great place to visit because of its great vintages and the vineyard has an interesting backstory to it. Situated on a 50-acre plot of land in North Texas, the owners of the Hidden Hangar Vineyard have expertly converted this property into one of the premier wine destinations in the State that features a production facility, Pilot's Lounge, wine cellar, Barrel Room, and, of course, their very own tasting room. Homestead Winery at Denison is the oldest continually operating winery in the Red River Valley of North Texas. This Denison branch is located inside Devolli’s Italian restaurant. This winery has a "good selection of sweet and dry wines" and "in addition to the many wines available and the tasting room, they have a brewery". "They also have many different wines from around the world via the wines of the world program". You can also visit their other branches at Ivanhoe and Grapevine. "Lenoir-Sage Vineyards doesn't ship or distribute so if you want their wine you gotta go to Bells, Texas and get it". They are "about an hour to get to from Dallas". This place established in 2002, was primarily an agricultural project, "their hobby" and it has grown to include a winery and a tasting room.
