Kendall County is a county situated on the Edwards Plateau in the state of Texas. Boerne is the county seat of Kendall County. George Wilkins Kendall is the namesake of the county. He was a journalist and a correspondent in the Mexican-American War. The county was listed along with Hays and Comal counties of the nation’s ten fastest-growing counties in 2017 with a population of at least ten thousand residents.
