Thirsty Mule Winery & Vineyard

Winery in Liberty Hill -

The Thirsty Mule Winery is located inside a hillside and "it is easy to locate off the highway". They have "live music every week and the wine is wonderful". Visit "it to fully understand not only the setting, but the winery tasting area complete with a gift shop, and wood-fired pizza". Have a taste of the "Chardonnay made from California grapes" that "tastes surprisingly sharp and 'raw'" or the "Pinot Blanc" which is "fruit forward at first but has a dry finish". You can also taste the "Cabernet" which has "hints of bell pepper both on the nose and by taste".

Tom Bombadil Meadery

Winery in Georgetown -

Tom Bombadil Meadery has been making wine for almost 40 years with a special interest in Texas-grown fruit and honey wine combinations. They want to bring truly dry and refreshing Meads (honey wine) and Melomels (fruit honey wines) to the world and Texas specifically. Come and taste the experience for yourself. Try one of their meads. You can try their "Orange Blossom Mead" which is "nice and smooth" with "lots of honey in the body and the orange blossom on the nose and finish". Check out their website for any updates since you can also find their wines at the Canterbury Renaissance Festival.
