For over half a century, the chili supper has been a cherished tradition in the heart of the Weston community, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department and local residents. Since its humble beginnings in 1968, this event has evolved and changed locations, but its spirit has remained unshaken. Now, the Women of Weston group (W.O.W) is thrilled to carry the torch and keep this beloved tradition alive. Get ready for a day of classic small-town fun, filled with delicious chili, sweet treats, exciting games, and more.
This year's chili supper promises a delightful array of activities to enjoy. From a chili and dessert competition where you can showcase your culinary skills and win bragging rights to backyard games like cornhole and ring toss, there's something for everyone. And let's not forget the mouthwatering chili dog and Frito chili pie supper, perfect for satisfying those comfort food cravings. The event will also feature pumpkin decorating, photo opportunities, raffle items, and even dancing to the tunes of the Homestead Underground Band.
Not only will you have a blast at the chili supper, but you'll also be contributing to a good cause. Proceeds from the event will support the Miracle on Chicken Street Christmas Event and our local volunteer fire department. So mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and join us for a day of fun, food, and community spirit. Don't miss out on this heartwarming Weston tradition that has stood the test of time and continues to bring joy to our town. It's a celebration you won't want to miss!
