Review of Falk Bakery by TexasRealFood

A bakery with a story spanning years of family history! The Falk Bakery was opened in the 1800s by Bernhard, the great grandfather of its current owner, Beka. With the business having closed down years ago, Beka decided to fulfill her dream of reopening the bakery, this time in Texas, and to "honor the legacy the previous generations have left" in their family through "the work of her hands. " Now, Beka caters to the Waco community through pre-orders, neighborhood pick-ups, and by joining the local farmers markets with her "slow-fermented loaves made with non-GMO flour and wild yeast."  Nutritious and full of flavor, some of her amazing baked masterpieces include the half & half sourdough, the sunflower walnut whole wheat, peasant olive and rosemary loaves! Always check her Instagram account as well for refreshingly creative seasonal treats like the pumpkin-shaped cranberry walnut 24-ounce loaf!
