Green Wolf Vertical Farm uses a closed-loop hydroponic vertical tower system. Intensive greenhouse management is used to greatly reduce environmental waste as opposed to conventional soil farming. They have vertical towers that are an intense growing system that can produce in 100 square feet what traditional farming produces in 400 square feet. They have microgreens that can last longer. "With the microgreens, nobody sells them live here. They're all cut. And they don't last very long. Where with mine, they last seven to ten days. Its fresher, it tastes better. Moriarty Farms, which is located in Dale, Texas, is a local, family-owned private farm. The farm raises chickens and ducks. However, they moved to its present location starting in 2018. They also have some vegetables and zinnias available for U-Pick. The farm has secondary crops of peaches, nectarines, and other orchard fruits and vegetables but these are pre-picked and only available for sale at their farm stand located within the property.
