The Imperial Farmers Market, thriving in its 8th year in Sugar Land as of 2019, is a cherished local institution. Originally faced with the threat of closure due to construction work in early 2018, the outpouring of concern from residents led to a positive resolution. Thanks to an agreement between the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and city officials, the market found a new home in the parking lot outside the Imperial Park Recreation Center.
Here, you'll discover an array of delights, including fresh seasonal produce from local farmers, grass-fed meats, free-range chicken and eggs, local honey, artisanal creations, and scrumptious ready-to-eat food. The market also features live music by talented local musicians and captivating cooking demonstrations. Join us year-round on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm for a vibrant and diverse market experience.
