Review of Live Oak Farmers Market by TexasRealFood

You’d be forgiven if you think the Live Oak Farmers Market was new to San Antonio. The truth is, this market was formerly known by other names. This market used to be the Boardwalk on Broadway Farmers Market. And, before that, it was The Rim Farmers Market and organized by the Hill Country Farmers Market Association. The market goes all the way back to 2006. Today, it also goes by the name Live Oak on Pat Booker Farmers Market.

It’s latest reincarnation doesn’t change their mission – “to provide customers with fresh, locally grown and locally made foods”. These days, they hold market days on Sundays from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Shoppers can still enjoy fresh local seasonal produce and fruits, grass-fed meats, farm fresh eggs, pastured chickens, and all sorts of goodies.

Don't know where to go for family time? Check out Live Oak Farmers Market as they were featured as one of the 7 Farmers Markets in San Antonio for the Family!
