The US city of Beasley is located in Houston-Sugar Land metropolitan areas in Fort Bend County, in the US state of Texas. Beasley recorded a population of 641 in the 2010 census. The city sits on an area of 1.1 square miles, 0.004 square miles of which is water. Hudson Products Corporation is Beasley's largest employer, with its operations taking place on an estimated 260 acres of land, located two miles in the western part of the city. The city was founded in the mid-1890s and named after Cecil A. Beasley. Beasley had himself named the town after a Miss Isabel Dyer, who would later become Mrs. Beasley. When it was found that there was another community by the name Dyer, the name Beasley was chosen.
