Bluff Dale is an Erath County unincorporated community located in the US state of Texas, US. The place is on the Northeastern point of Erath County and North of Paluxy River on the US highway. In 1877, a post office came into effect, leading to the name Bluff Dale formerly Bluff Springs. During the construction of Fort Worth and Rio Grande Railway, Jack Glenn gave out a portion of land to catalyze development in this area. A newspaper and a bank significantly developed by 1915. A bank opened in this area in 2005 after a gas convenience store established in 2002.
