The Manhattan Project Beer Company’s name is a nod to the scientific way the brewery’s founders create their beers. Of course, the brewery’s name also makes for cool beer names. Consider Particles Collide (a Hazy IPA), Atomic Alliance (a piña colada IPA), and their infamous Bikini Atoll (a Gose). The most fascinating thing about The Manhattan Project Beer Company besides their delicious beers, however, is how the founders upended everyone’s business plan. Deep Ellum Brewing Co.

Deep Ellum Brewing Co. has many achievements since it sold its first beer keg in November 11, 2011. It is currently the largest independent North Texas brewery, and Dallas’ first craft brewery. Much like the historic and culturally-significant neighborhood for which it is named, the brewery embodies the “bold, fearless, and unapologetic” spirit that enabled the area to rise and “to refuse to die”.
