Fulshear is a city located in Fort Bend County in Texas. Churchill Fulshear was the namesake of the town. The town was plated in 1890. Fulshear took some of the population from a near town Pittsville, since the community didn’t take advantage of the railroad it lost a lot of its residents. The town’s school district was established just three years later. The town’s population was 716 as of the 2000 census which is the peak of the city. The city was incorporated in 1977 after Houston started growing. The town’s total area is 8.15 square miles as stated by the U.S Bureau.
