Horseshoe Bay is a town located in both Llano and Burnet counties, Texas. It is located on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson, and on the south branch of Colorado River. The region is well-known for water sports, especially for drag-boat racing. The population of this CDP was at the 2010 census. This city is one of the recent ones, being founded in 1971. Other than Lake Lyndon, other attractions of this town are Horseshoe Bay Mausoleum, Lake Marble Falls, and Dead Man’s Hole. The city’s large area and a low population make this a perfect tourist destination for people wanting peace.
