Marion as part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area is a city in the county of Guadalupe in Texas, US. It registered a population of 1,066 at the census of 2010. This city got its name after Marion Dove. Marion has an estimated total area of 0.77 square miles according to the US Census Bureau where all of it is land. By 1941, it was incorporated. It has several restaurants, meat markets, gas stations, a few businesses and a 3A school. Marion Independent School District also serves this city. It has a Farm to Market Road 78 passing through its center.
