Moody is a city located in McLennan County in Texas. As of the 2010 census, the city’s population was 1,371. The city is located at the intersection of Highway 317 and 107. The town’s total area is only 0.9 square miles according to the U.S Bureau. The town’s population started with around 400 residents living in the community in the 1890s, it has since then risen to more than one thousand citizens but felt back down after the Great Depression in 1940s with around 900 citizens. The town’s peak population was reached in the 2018 years when there were an estimated 1,403 citizens living in Moody.
