Sacul is an unincorporated community in Nacogdoches County, Texas, United States. It has a population of just 170. This area was initially a part of the settlement called Tolivar. It was then incorporated by the Texas and New Orleans railroad somewhere at the start of the 20th century. The town is known for its two main cultural events. One is the annual folk festival that was started in 1986. And the other is a monthly bluegrass festival that takes place every fourth Saturday of each month.
