Hop and Sting Brewing Company is the former Grapevine Craft Brewery and founded by its former brewers Brian Burton and Jon Powell. Luckily, they settled on “Turning Point”, which appropriately describes the different milestones they accomplished to get where they are. Brutal Beerworks owners Eric Johnson, Sallie McIntyre, and Jason Perez named their craft brewery after the “brutal” journey towards opening their dream business. Eric had been a passionate homebrewer and Jason is a professional brewer at another brewery.
