Spade is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lamb County, Texas, United States. It has had a population of 73 at the census of 2000. The first settlments were made on the Spade Ranch which is where the city gets its name. The actual town site was founded in 1924. Just north of the Spade is the Triple Arrow Ranch, a 1,000-acre (4.0 km2) spread with historic relics owned by Lamb County Commissioner's Court Judge William A. Anderson, Jr., and his wife, LeNora Jo Thompson. Spade has a median income of $36.000 per family.
