Kevin Lundgren, a fifth-generation farmer, is the proud owner of Lund Produce Company. Since 1991, he has been revitalizing 11 acres of land, transforming it into the thriving Brachgrove Farm, located just 35 miles from downtown Austin. Notably, Kevin's expertise caught the attention of a neighboring family with a history of shallot cultivation dating back to the 1800s. Entrusting him with their surviving shallot plants, Kevin's skillful nurturing led to a substantial harvest in 2008, allowing him to supply local Whole Foods stores and directly serve families by 2009.
Brachgrove Farm doesn't stop at shallots; it boasts an array of crops, from Oxblood lilies and onions to corn and broccoli. Kevin's sustainable farming practices and commitment to providing fresh, locally grown produce underline his deep connection to the land and passion for cultivating a variety of delightful vegetables.
