Review of The Market at Luscombe Farm by TexasRealFood

Established in 1913, Leslie Luscombe is one of the fourth generation family members now running Luscombe Farm. The family had always been famous for their jalapeño jelly recipe that had been passed down from generation to generation. Back then, only friends and family knew about the delicious stuff made at the farm. In 2009, Leslie started selling their products online, in stores, and at the farm as gift baskets. They now also sell peanut butter, honey, granola, among other items. The Luscombe family’s business venture has expanded and they now support about 20 farmers and artisans through their seasonal farmers market that they host at the farm grounds. The market is every second and fourth Sunday from May to September.  They also hold holiday markets, cooking classes, and their barn is now an event venue. Off-season, Luscombe Farm Specialty Foods are always available for orders.
