Hot and tropical climate is the perfect excuse to have an ice cream from Azucar Ice Cream Company! It is an “ice cream and sorbet boutique” located in Dallas Texas. The concept of the store came out of the love for the owner’s abuela (grand mother) who has the passion for ice cream and admiration for Miami's little Havana neighborhood and what it represents. They use the “highest quality, all natural ingredients” and a desire to bring smiles to friends faces. Whenever possible, they use locally grown, seasonal fruits and vegetables from “South Florida farmer's markets” and red land, Florida growers. Azucar Ice Cream Company makes ice cream and sorbet flavors daily, continuing to challenge their creativity with new tropical flavors and striving to bring delight to their client's faces.

The founders of Bishop Cider were in a bind. They liked cider, but the commercial brands they tasted were awful. That led them to make their own cider at home and eventually putting up their own cider company. Joel and Laura Malone, the company’s founders, promise that their ciders are “gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and made by Texans”. They promise not to add sugar to their ciders, too – not even honey. "Their innovative flavors and creatively tasteful artwork makes Bishop Cider Co a force to be reckoned with in the world of ciders." Also, their cidery offers a live music stage, 12 ciders on tap, and a free tour every Saturday at 12:30pm. Located in the heart of Oak Cliff in historical Tyler Station, Oak Cliff Brewing Company is a production brewery and taproom that offers “fresh and high quality craft beers.” The brewery sits in a 110, 000 square-foot industrial space that has been re-purposed into a co-working haven for creatives, artists and, of course, craft brewers. They have an interesting lineup of craft beers including their core beers - “two lagers, a saison and an IPA” which are truly promising! More seasonal offerings are yet to come such as “desserty imperial stout that is brewed with homemade caramel.” Come taste their awesome selection of craft beers and spend time in the biergarten styled taproom with original murals from Jeff Rogers!
