Review of Pendleton Ranch by TexasRealFood

In 2014, Ron Plis and Kathey DeOrnellas embarked on their journey at Pendleton Ranch, a century-old homestead. Their mission: to restore the land's natural beauty. Clearing invasive plants paved the way for the diverse range of animals they now raise.

Their farm boasts CVM/Romeldale sheep, prized for both lamb meat and wool. Additionally, they raise heritage hogs, Dexter cattle, and free-range chickens. As the sole Texas breeder of the endangered California Variegated Mutant sheep, Pendleton Ranch offers roving, yarn, and fleece, with similar products derived from Angora goats and alpacas.

Visit them at Denton Community Market from April to November to support their conservation efforts and enjoy their exceptional products.
