The Bar Z Winery tasting room is open Wednesday through Sunday "right by Palo Duro Canyon state park which is a must-see". Their location is "right off of I27 between Lubbock & Amarillo". Even if you are "a hardcore wine guru or a novice, 501 has something to delight your palate". They are located in historic downtown Childress, Texas and their winery was named after the "501" "locomotive". Their "patio is amazing and it's dog-friendly" and an "extra plus" is that "they make a great cheese plate".
Vingo Vineyards is located in the historic former post office. It's a "modernized, perfectly redesigned, and tastefully decorated" place. They are "truly a gem in Dalhart". This is a "good place to meet up with friends whether a wine drinker or not they are welcoming to all". They are also a "great venue for parties and events". Visit and try a flight of six preselected Texas wines. They also offer cheese and charcuterie plates to pair with your wines, and outside food is always welcome. This the "best way to spend a Friday evening - sipping a glass of wine in their lovely location!"
