The owners are family of beer lovers, world travelers, and Houston transplants. They are passionate beer nerds that answered a call to brew for Houston, Spring, and Conroe. They offer a rotating selection of beers brewed in-house, including their five mainstays “Who's Paul? Pale Ale, HEYYEAYEA DIPA, Porter's Porter, Que Pablo Mexican Lager, and Fuzzy Bastard Cream Ale.” The taproom is located upstairs with plenty of seats and TVs while the bar outside is located in a small hut with a lot of seatings as well. Southern Yankee Beer Company is dedicated to make better beer, providing a better experience, and forging a larger beer community. It is family friendly, and there are usually food options from local food trucks that come out to serve.
