Chris and Whitney, a husband and wife team and the founders of the brewery, had their first date at a pub and shared a deep love for craft beers. With Whitney as CEO and Chris as Head Brewer, they’ve taken in Executive Chef Dave to pair German-inspired food to go with German-style beers, the style preferred by Chris who’s of German ancestry. Restaurant-veteran Kristie, meanwhile, completes the group as General Manager.
The Brewtorium has a spacious taproom and outdoor patio in N. Central Austin. Order their Tangerine Milkshake IPA and give support to Mother’s Milk Bank, which provides “life saving breast milk to the most fragile babies in need”. You might want to pair the brew with the Deviled Eggs. We hear it’s simply delicious! The brewery also serves a selection of wine, cider, mead, and sake.
