For him, chili is a devilishly fun pursuit. He started it from scratch and made a chili, dedicating himself to learning the chili trade and rubbing shoulders with chili champions. Each packet of the devil’s own chili contains enough spice to make a batch of chili that serves 6 people. Be prepared to have those 6 people owe you a favor, because you're about to change their lives. Those who can’t tolerate a spicy kick can add a quarter teaspoon of brown sugar to the bowl to turn down the heat. For thicker chili, add a little cornmeal.
