Farmers Market in San Antonio
The WIC Clinic Salinas at 630 S General McMullen is just one of 13 locations participating under the San Antonio Food Bank Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). The San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB), established in 1980, aims to actively fight hunger in San Antonio and Southwest Texas. They provide "not only food for today" as their primary mission. And, they also "give community members the resources to be self-sufficient in the future". The FMNP also provides resources to qualified low-income women and children. They help them purchase fresh locally grown produce using their FMNP vouchers at participating farmer’s market locations. Most of the produce sold at this market also comes from the SAFB Farms. You will really "appreciate" and will also "love seeing all" the services they have been doing.
