Knox County is a county situated in the state of Texas. Benjamin is the county seat of Knox County and the largest city of the county is Munday. Henry Knox is the reason the county is named this way. He was a general in the American Revolutionary War. The county was originally created in 1858 and was officially organized in 1886. Some of the rivers that pass through the county are North Wichita River, Brazos River, South Wichita River, and Middle Fork Wichita River.
