In 2008, they set out establish their own brewery, and by 2011, Karbach Brewing Company set up brewing operations in Houston. To much publicity in November 2016, the brewery announced the company's acquisition by Anheuser-Busch InBev. With this development, the brewery expects to expand capacity to 150,000 barrels per year in 2019. The brewery continues to produce popular its "mainstays" Hopadillo IPA, Love Street Kolsch-Style Blonde, and Crawford Bock, among others.
