Review of Cacao & Cardamom Chocolatier (River Oaks) by TexasRealFood
The River Oaks branch of Cacao & Cardamom Chocolatier is its second and newest branch in Houston, Texas. It's a gourmet chocolate shop that specializes in sensory-provoking confections; all made with fine couverture French chocolate base mixed with spices and fruits from all over the world. Using only the finest ingredients, it promises freshness, quality, and a unique burst of flavor in every bite. Oh, we must say, it's "the best chocolatier in Houston." Not to mention that their 5-foot tall dual-cascading chocolate fountain and create-your-own chocolate box is also worth the stop.
Once you try their chocolates, you'll "feel like you've truly never tasted real chocolate before. The flavors were unique and amazing, the chocolate was not just pure sugar like most places it was bursting with flavor and each piece was an experience." And, if you're a "huge fan of exotic spices and chocolate mixture," this is something that you cannot miss. The owner "Annie was super friendly and helpful and her chocolates are vert beautiful and the pairing of flavors are just amazing." Their "Norman Love, Christopher Elbow, Jacques Torres" are just some of the favorites here.
Looking for something vegan? "The chocolate Louboutin shoe and chocolate lipstick" are just some of its scrumptious "vegan chocolates!" These items make "a perfect birthday gift" by the way! Speaking of gift, all of their chocolates are "highly recommended for any gift occasion" as "each piece is beautiful and wonderfully flavored." Your only problem would be the challenge of not eating them. That's why it's best to go to the store and treat yourself first. You'll be "glad" that you "spoiled" yourself as "there is no such thing as a bad chocolate" in this place. Well, you've been warned!
