Lake Lavon Specialty Foods was established in 2003 when the owners bought a property at Lake Lavon and started planting fruit, nut trees, and blackberries. After a few years they were preparing “small batches of jam,” and bring it out to Farmers Markets every weekend. They produce a truly personally grown, unique line of products! Now, they are well known for making “Specialty Jams, Traditional Fruit Preserves & Fruit Butters, Pickles, Sauerkraut, and Mustard.” They also have a variety of “Salsa and Queso,” all made by hand. Come to the market for your taste of their best seller, “Cherry Bomb Jam.” It is made from cherries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and jalapenos.
