A delicious, healthy alternative to the Texas tradition of chips, salsa and queso, The Salsa Texan’s main products are, as their name suggests, a few different salsas, two types of queso, guacamole, baked tortilla chips, ranch dressing, and chicken salad. The founder has type two diabetes and began making the products years ago as a way to be able to enjoy his favorites and maintain his health. As the success of those products grew, he added more items like five cheese pimento cheese, Texas caviar, and cranberry pecan white chicken salad. All products are organic, gluten free, non GMO, and preservative free. The chips are made by hand grinding the corn mesa and they are baked, not fried. Baking them allows the chips to remain fresher longer up to 90 days.
