Review of Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site Farmers Market by TexasRealFood

The Farmers Market at the historic Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site is just one of the many attractions that greet visitors during the Spring/Fall months. This market is held at the grounds of the park’s Visitor Center, under the shade of live oak trees. Find local vegetables, fruits, snacks from food trucks, baked goods, and unique artisan items for sale. Market day is every 3rd Saturday of the month from March to July and from September to November. Market hours are from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Tip: Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site Farmers Market is just one among many other attractions that make this historic site a popular Texas destination. It is held on the same day as the park’s “Living History Saturday” event. See staff and volunteers dress in period clothing for a glimpse of life in the Republic of Texas during the 1830s.
