Sustainable Harvesters has a "state of the art facility with state of the art management". It is a "well-maintained farm, very educational and the team of guys" are "very informative". Their system also produces "beautiful lettuces and a TON of variety" and "cultivated with care as well". You can also have "an informative educational field lesson" with them about Aquaponic classes. The current owners and managers of Cox Family Farms, Leonard and Cathy, took over the farm a few years back. However, it has been around for over seventy-five years. They sell chicken, beef, eggs, fruits, veggies, milk, and honey. All are fresh and 100% naturally-grown and raised. They also offer tours and fun activities. If you ever go to the farm, your questions about farming will surely be entertained graciously. Whatever you need to know, the farmers will be more than willing to tell you their stories. From riding horses, raising chickens and pigs, milking food, growing food, to eating clean, it will be a fun and informative chat. Neal’s Berry Farm in Waller, TX is a working farm. It features a “U-Pick” (pick your own fruits and vegetables) activity for the whole family. The farm opened in 2009 in Spring, TX. However, they moved to its present location starting in 2018. The kids will love walking up and down the farm’s rows of thorn-less berries and figs - the farm's main crops - to fill their own baskets. They also have some vegetables and zinnias available for U-Pick. The farm has secondary crops of peaches, nectarines, and other orchard fruits and vegetables but these are pre-picked and only available for sale at their farm stand located within the property.
