Deanitude Brewing is a family owned brewery that has been making beer in Dallas since 1993. Their focus has been with beers like “Saison, ESB, Quad, Imperial Milk Stout” with Cherries, a variety of IPA’s including “New England IPA” that weighs in at 7%. It has light malt backbone with fruity citrus & pine aroma and tangerine flavor hops. They also have “Wee Heavy, English Porter, American Pale Ale and an Imperial Red.” The theme of Deanitude Brewing is all about, but not limited to, Big Beers. They have an 1831 era historic German beer called “Fredersdorfer,” which is very similar to a Märzen, but has a large percentage of wheat in the grain bill. The flavor is malt with a wheat spice, subtle spicy German hops and a smooth mouth feel.

Outfit Brewing opened its doors to the public in August of 2018 as a family owned and operated brewery run by brothers “Jordan Young and Mike Frazer.” Head brewer Jordan started brewing in the mid 2000’s as a hobby in his garage on the weekends. Through plenty of trial, a fair amount of error, constant tweaking and unwavering determination, he improved his process and the resulting product is “quality craft beer.” As the years passed, he began brewing his craft beer for family and friends for weddings, social events and celebrations. Today, Outfit Brewing is one of the well known brewery in Dallas that provides great brews that stand out in the world of overplayed IPAs. They have a cool and spacious tap room, offering great beers with a variety of styles.

Husband and wife Terry and Catherine Gordon are first time commercial brewers who opened Thirsty Bro Brewing in Royse City. Calling their guests “bros and bro-ettes”, they aim to be that neighborhood taproom where everybody can say "cheers!" to one another and not be a stranger. Opened in March 2017, Thirsty Bro Brewing is the city's first brewery. The brewery uses “the finest hops, grains, and other ingredients”. For extra thirsty bros and bro-ettes, there’s a 17oz Tankards Club. Members get access to a wide variety of beers and gluten-reduced selections”. Located at the historic downtown area of the city, the brewery invites guests to order from a local restaurant or go BYOF (bring your own food).

Breaking Brew Meadery is a family-owned brew meadery and is the first mead taproom located in Dallas, Texas. It can be found "in an industrial-looking strip mall" and "it could be hard to find if you aren't watching out for the signs pointing to the meadery". This is a "great place to relax" with "great service and super nice owners too". "If you have never tried meads before, this is the place to get your first and learn more about the process and how meads got their taste". Mead is one of the oldest alcoholic beverages which is fermented from honey.  There are "dry, fruity, or hoppy meads" such as the "Ginger Bear" and "Raspberry Beret". They have "light, flavorful, gluten-free" meads such as the "Comb Over" and the "Bee Sting". You can bring a growler and discount its cost on your next refill. They offer flights too.

Bitter Sisters Brewing Company is the only production brewery in Addison. An independent, family-owned craft brewery, it takes its name from the three "type-A McHugh sisters". Baby brother and wife are part of the business, too, as are the sisters’ husbands. Together, they own Bitter Sisters, and each doing his or her part so the company can produce award-winning craft beers. This makes the brewery and the taproom a real family affair, with beers that have memorable and distinctly female names like Hissy Fit, Cat Fight, Winter Bush, Girls Quad, Bitch Slap, Knock Out, and Busy Body. The brewery started coming together when Brewmaster Matt Ehinger married one of the sisters, Courtney, and quickly realized that beer – his home-brewed beer – made everyone less “bitter”. Eventually, the idea of putting up a brewery was hatched. And as they say, “the family that brews together... has the most fun”!

3 Nations Brewing Co. Founder and brewmaster Gavin Secchi and his four partners combine ancient European brewing traditions with American innovation and ingenuity to come up with its line of craft beers. Their brewing process is “a fresh take on old world style” and launched mainstay beers American Wit and GPA, a German pale ale. Founded in 2015, they’ve since expanded the lineup to include, among others, Texas Gold, Mango Smash IPA, Bull’s Brown Ale, and Haze Wizard IPA. The brewery is celebrating new milestones with a win as Best Brewery in Dallas by the Dallas Observer, and the brewery's move in October 2019 to the Historic Downtown Carrollton (just 1.5 miles from their current location at Farmers Branch). The new facility includes a spacious taproom, patio, and a private events room.  The taproom will also double up as a test market serving new brews.
