The Brownsville-Harlingen MSA is located south of Texas that is composed only of one single county – Cameron. Despite that, this MSA became the eighth-most populous metropolitan area in Texas back in 2012. It features great historical places from battlefields and military posts to the USS Cabots, where it showcases the last remaining light aircraft carriers that served the WWII. This MSA is also home to the Sabal Palm Sanctuary, where you can enjoy a guided tour of this late 19th-century, 557-acre sugarcane plantation house. A wide variety of southern cuisine that covers Native American, Spanish, and Mexican food awaits you in the Brownsville-Harlingen MSA.
