This winery is "very rustic and a relaxing place to spend the afternoon" while drinking Malbec or any other "great wines" they produce. Their "wines have a sophistication of nose and palate that is unique and distinctive". They also host some events. From Saturday tastings, live music, concerts, weddings, private tastings/dinners, and corporate events.

Barnhill Vineyards

Barnhill Vineyards is a "beautiful winery" that is conveniently located in North Dallas only 15 minutes Northeast of McKinney. "The property sits on 40 acres of lush land" in the small town of Anna, Texas. You will see "rows of grapevines, a small area where mini donkeys and horses roam, and there's chairs, benches, and cornhole outside". The rustic barn at your fairy-tale wedding is "gorgeous, constructed from bare wood that is simple yet strikingly beautiful". "Malbec, the red blend, and the peach wine" are some of their wines that you can taste and purchase. They are also "very responsive on FB" if you want to have a great place for your rustic outdoor wedding.

Berkshire Farms Winery opened in 2017 after brothers-slash-business owners Jonathan and Jason Jackson of Berkshire Farms wanted to take the experience of eating good meat to a new level and offer spirits that best pair with their farm products. They make wine with an emphasis on craftsmanship, making sure the taste and flavor are exquisite, elegant, and enjoyable. Visit their online store and see some of Berkshire Farms Winery's products including their Almond Sparkling Wine and Peach Sangria. They also have wine pops which are perfect for when it is hot and humid.

Brushy Creek Vineyards and Winery

Brushy Creek Vineyards and Winery is a "great local vineyard and winery" that is located between Decatur and Bowie. They have a "rustic location" so you can truly "enjoy Texas wines the way they should be in the Texas sunshine with a few rustic surroundings". This is "a must-visit and a short drive from the DFW metroplex".  They are also a "pet-friendly place" with a "very quaint tasting room and deck area to sit and enjoy looking over the vineyards as you sip a glass of your favorite". They have a "wide selection of reds and whites" such as "the exotic Rkatsiteli" and "the easy-drinking Sangiovese". Be "in love with the Trebianno white wine" that "has a nice crispness with a little citrus undertone". Their award-winning Texas wines are not generally available in retail stores.

Carmela Winery

Carmela Winery has a tasting room inspired by ones in Napa and Sonoma, California, but just North of Dallas. It is a "nice little spot in downtown Celina run by a father and son" with "comfortable surroundings" and "staff to make you feel like family when you visit". You will "enjoy sampling varieties of your choice in a historic setting".  They have a "very good choice of wines" and also offer wine selections from around the world. You will pass through "rolling hills" and enjoy the drive to this winery. The winery is "very quaint" but "very relaxing". It has a "laidback and friendly atmosphere, no wine snobs, fun events".

Cassaro Winery

Cassaro Winery is a family-owned business that's located a few minutes from downtown Ovilla in Ellis County, Texas. This is a beautifully renovated farmhouse with several tables inside so you can enjoy a wide variety of award-winning wines. They also have nice outdoor seating areas with a lot of beautiful shade trees and a larger than life fire pit. They also have meat and cheese trays and other tasty treats to go with your wine. They also have free music every Friday night.

Casual Friday Winery is run by a small but passionate team out of Fort Worth, Texas. Their urban production facility and tasting room is located on the west side of Fort Worth and is only 8 minutes from downtown. "This place is a hidden gem" with "a very tasty charcuterie tray" and "local quality wines with exceptional service". The tasting room has "great music and had a very cozy feel". "Trying the wines in the tasting room is a great experience in a comfortable atmosphere". Enjoy 16 different and unique wines on a laid back and eclectic atmosphere. "The ability to talk to the man that created the wines is really special".

Caudalie Crest Farm and Vineyard

Caudalie Crest Farm and Vineyard is a boutique-style winery that opened in 2009 with only two wines. Now, it offers a wide range of wines to meet the diverse tastes of the local wine lovers. It is a "wonderful little place not too far away from Celina". You will have a "very laid back experience on a beautiful piece of property". It is a "great place for tasting several delicious wines and relaxing on the patio" with a lovable "outdoor setting with the fruits, chocolates, and nuts/pretzels to pair with the tastings". Your kids will also have a "wonderful time exploring the property" with the "goats and horses" as a "bonus" attraction.

Checkered Past Winery

"Drink what you like" is the motto of the Checkered Past Winery. They are located in the historic South Side on Lamar Building, "across the street from the Dallas police station". Aside from the "live music", they also have "a good beer selection if wine isn't your thing". They make their own quality wines, over 20 locally-brewed craft beers, and some of the best wines from Texas and around the world. They have a "fabulous wine selection and their flatbreads and cheese boards are amazing". They have a small kitchen but "they put out better quality food than 85% of the bars/restaurants in the metroplex". They're currently moving to a new location and we'll update the listing once they have settled in! Watch this space for developments!

Cork House Winery

Cork House Winery is the first winery in the historic downtown Waxahachie. With "beautiful mix of tasteful modern" and "small-town retro and rustic wood" design, you will notice that the "staff are all outstanding with knowledge of the different wines and have southern hospitality down to the core". The winemaker has won a couple of amateur winemaking awards so she is not new into this world of winemaking. "Texas High Plains fruit near Brownfield" is the source of their Texas wines. Visit this and enjoy "live music" on weekends. Pair "a meat and cheese tray" to one of their "fabulous wines" and you will "definitely be back".

Cowtown Winery

Cowtown Winery is located in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. They are one of the six wineries comprising Six Shooter Cellars. This is a "great place in the Stockyards to enjoy a glass or flight of wines". Their "bar is quaint" with a "dark ambiance". They are the start of the Stockyards Ghost Tours which they also offer online. "Their dessert chocolates pair great with their Ports". You will have a "pleasurable experience" because this is a "very cute place to enjoy really good wine or cold margarita". Even if you are "not a huge wine fan", they still "have several different frozen Daiquiri drinks as well as Piña Coladas". Aside from Ghost Tours, they also have Blending Classes which you can join via an advance online booking on their website.

Cross Timber Winery is a quaint winery off the beaten path of Main Street in a historic home, the Historic Brock Family farmhouse, and the "grounds are beautiful". This farmhouse is one of the 5 oldest structures in Grapevine. Their "bartender and bbq buffet staff" are "awesome as well as the management staff". They have a "very cozy outdoor setting with live music". Their "complimentary cheese and crackers" goes well with their "white, red, and rosè wines, ranging from sweet to dry". This is a "quiet winery away from the main Grapevine Main Street bar scene". They have a patio that "has a very serene and relaxing atmosphere".

D’Vine Wine of Granbury

D'Vine Wine of Granbury is a small boutique winery located in the historic downtown Granbury square. "A wonderful environment that is personal and cozy - the perfect place to sip wine and relax!" They ferment over 20 varieties of wine on-site. They also offer daily wine tasting, custom wine labels, wine-related gifts in a relaxed atmosphere. You will "like their fruit accented wines, such as Peach and Apple". They also have "plenty of fruit flavor without being overwhelming". "One night a week they have karaoke", which should "not be missed". Special events throughout the month make this a fun place to gather, relax, drink wine and socialize. "Friendly and helpful staff" that can help you "find a new wine".

Delaney Vineyards and Winery

Delaney Vineyards and Winery was established in 1995 and they are the largest vineyard in North Texas. They have a "very cool wine tour with tasting at the end". You will be "able to see fermentation tanks as well as their small bottling room". You will "get a little history and education before" tasting. Visit them "with no expectation other than to drink wine" and you may end up "finding a great deal of valuable information about the founder and their wine". You will enjoy the "surprised smoothness of each wine" such as the "Cynthiana, Muscat Canelli and Three Daughters". The place has a "very rustic look too so definitely worth checking out for engagements or weddings".

Eden Hill Vineyard

You can find Eden Hill Vineyard north of Dallas off of Preston Road", which is "a little off the beaten path, but worth the trip". You can taste the multi-awarded wines "on the flight list or you can do all red wines or all white wines". Enjoy excellent wines such as "the Rousanne, a nice dry white" or "the Garden Red, a terrific non-vintage blend of mostly Tempranillo with other grapes" and pair it with the "tasty Napa Cheese Plate" to have a "very pleasurable" experience. The "wines here aren't cheap" but "don't let that deter you" because "good Texas wine ain't cheap".

Fortunata Winery

A hobby and a passion turned into Fortunata winery in Aubrey, Texas. "Charming, sweet winery with very friendly and helpful staff" and "really close to huge housing area but still out in the country". "A bit of a drive from Dallas, but well worth it". "The tree-lined patio is the perfect setting for date night or hanging out with a group of friends". They have a "beautiful back patio" with "live music (small acoustic set)" and "pizza on the weekends". Visit and enjoy a "wonderful atmosphere with delicious food" and "great tasting wines". Try "the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc" which are "lovely on a warm summer evening, and the red blend paired well with pizza".

"Grape Vine Springs Winery is a small place" but they have a "very cool laidback vibe". They are located on Main Street in downtown Grapevine, Texas. They have a "diverse and refreshing" selection of wines such as the popular "Rodeo Red" or the "Almond Sparkling". Producing dry reds, dry whites, semi-sweet fruit wines (ten flavors) and dessert ports which are mostly award-winners from national and international competitions. Check out their website for the Night Watchman ghost tour which is "a great way to see downtown Grapevine". You also get to have a "complimentary glass of wine" with the ghost tour. You can also join a blending class so you can custom design a blended wine just for you.

Landon Winery (Greenville)

Landon Winery in Greenville is the main production and distribution facility with a large tasting room and several meeting rooms. The "server" can "recommend the wines" for you "to taste" with the "nice wine selection". "Cold appetizers of various meats" and "cheeses are also available" to pair with your wines such as the "Red Pinot Noir" which "is something to talk about" or even the "Chocolate Port" which is "very sweet" and "tasty". "The atmosphere is comfy and inviting" with "live music on the weekends" which "is really nice". You will have an "amazing first experience" and you will "come back for sure".

Landon Winery (McKinney)

Landon Winery's first location in historic downtown McKinney, Texas. "This is a great spot to relax in downtown McKinney". A "winery on the McKinney square with live music". "Whether you go in for a wine tasting ($10 for five wines) or you grab a glass", "this is a good place to go". With "very generous pours", they have"excellent wine selections" that includes "the Yellow Rose, Raspberry, and the Chocolate finale". They also have "Cabernet Sauvignon" and the "Landon Tempranillo" which can be the "smoothest Tempranillo" you will have. It is "perfect with the sharp cheeses and excellent meats on the tray".

Larue Vineyards

Winery in Lewisville -

"Larue Vineyards is a hidden gem in a warehouse" and a "place" for a "perfect date night or happy hour". It has a "welcoming attitude and wonderful wine" that makes "for a great environment". They have "wine tasting" that is "fun and informative" and "good prices for ample glasses". You will also enjoy "painting parties, weddings, birthdays, as well as random weekend nights at this establishment and always leave with smiles on faces". This is also known in the community as the "the Cheers of Lewisville". You will not be disappointed because "the owners are great people and really put their heart and soul into it".
