Seco Creek Farm

Seco Creek Farm is a farm that has great love for their goats. They believe that happy goats produce great products, and we agree. They have "Nice Looking Goats" and they have "exciting breedings going there!" They strive to develop an excellent herd by focusing on great bloodlines and a strong herd health program. All goats are Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis (CAE) negative and Caseous lymphadenitis (CL) free. They also have a yearly test for their goats. The owners attend every time their goats give birth. Then, the kids are separated from their dams and hand-raised. The Nubian milkers are fed a ration consisting of LaCuesta dairy pellets, 16% mare and foal ration, beet pulp, and Chaffhaye. Their goats always have access to freshwater, minerals, and quality hay. The owners also participate in linear appraisal and DHIR (Dairy Herd Improvement Registry) programs.

Besides, she has Americanas chickens that lay blue, green-tinted eggs. Moreover, she has been keeping chickens since they moved to their present residence in 1996. Also, she makes tote bags from the chicken feed sacks and sells them on Facebook, Etsy, and at local farmer’s markets. Swede Farm Dairy

Swede Farm is a family dairy in Waller Texas that produces high quality fresh goat milk, flavored milk, yogurt, kefir & cheese. Their goat herd is composed of Alpine, Nubian, and La Mancha goats, and the blending of the different breeds' milk creates a delicious, mild-flavored product. Aside from fresh goat milk, they also make a divine chocolate goat milk made with an entire pound of “Guittard chocolate” per gallon. The milk is not chocolate-flavored milk, but real chocolate, with all the antioxidants. Plain chévre is the biggest-selling cheese and the rotating flavored includes garlic and chive, lemon-blueberry, and smoky chévre. They sell these artisanal products at Farmers Markets in Houston and Austin.

Therefore, the owners Tom and Evangeline Reed opened it to the public in May 2018 after planting its first berry bushes in 2013. Moreover, it is a family-friendly farm where you can pick your produce. Currently, they are famous for their big sweet berries. They nourish all their berries with a natural mineral-rich pond or well water and organic fertilizers.
