"This is a gorgeous winery with yummy wines and some decent snacks". "Their wines are great, especially their estates". There are available "white, red, sweet, and dry options" including the "estate Viognier" that "is crisp and clean" and the "Tempranillo" has "bold aromatic tobacco and herbaceous experience". You can also "take a selfie with an Ostrich". "The wines and the staff were fantastic along with the cheeseboard, but the best was the live music! They were fantastic and made the afternoon so enjoyable!"

Cooley Bay Winery is the only Winery in the city of Van Alstyne and famous for its signature drink, "The Cooley", this winery is "located just a tad more than 40 miles directly north of Dallas (in the Texoma AVA), and immediately near its Highway 75 exit". They have "nice balance of traditional Texas wines as well as some lovely fruit wines". "Most of the menu is sweet wines" but even if "you don't like wines because they are bitter or taste nasty", relax and enjoy and give this "very laid back and relaxing" place a try. "Lenoir-Sage Vineyards doesn't ship or distribute so if you want their wine you gotta go to Bells, Texas and get it". They are "about an hour to get to from Dallas". You will have a "very peaceful and relaxing" wine tasting "experience". "The owners" are "very friendly and didn't mind sharing their knowledge". This place established in 2002, was primarily an agricultural project, "their hobby" and it has grown to include a winery and a tasting room. You can call them for a tasting experience of "very good" wines such as the "Chardonnay" or the "Lenoir Rouge" and even the "white Merlot" which can become your "favorite" too.

This is "such a beautiful ranch" where you can "love the animals" and will be "getting to see them walking around in their natural habitat!!" It is the "perfect environment for a much-needed retreat or the venue of a beautiful wedding!" You may need to contact them if you want to reserve the Ranch for a corporate function. Aside from the ranch, there is also a winery "where award-winning wines are made" such as Gold Medal-winning Gewurztraminer. They also have a small Wine Tasting Room in Historic Downtown McKinney where they sell the Ranch Wines exclusively.
