Review of Wild West Farmers Market by TexasRealFood
Established in 2017, the Wild West Farmers Market is a roadside stand farmers market in Lubbock. In partnership with the Wild West Vintage Décor, Wolf Kuhlemeier of Wolf Creek Farms manages the market, and personally certifies each vendor. Wolf ensures that “they do what they say they’re doing”. He also sells his produce at the market. A big draw to this market is the presence of West Texas Growers and Producers Association members.Items at this market include seasonal produce, meats, eggs, honey, cheese, soap, candles, and locally made crafts. The last Saturday of each month is designated as “Junk Fest” day and features antiques and collectibles. For college students, Kurt says that they have the opportunity to volunteer at the market.
