Welcome to a member-owned, volunteer-run co-op nestled in Houston's historic 3rd Ward, once labeled a Texas "food desert." Our co-op offers a diverse range of organic, local, conventional, and transitional foods for the community. We proudly manage a thriving 3-acre urban organic farm and engage in a 2-acre tiny home building project. While the past five years brought challenges, we've persevered through the ups and downs, including recovering from Hurricane Harvey's devastation. We're here to strengthen our community. Eat Up First LLC is a company based in Texas. They make artisanal food, with the goal of making good food available to the community. The food products are made with quality ingredients, sourced from local farmers and partners. The ingredients used in making food are fresh and clean. They make delicious fruit jams, amazing fruit butter, loose leaf teas, honey, and sweeteners. They also sell brittles and sweets and mixed tea coolers. They also have candied jalapeño. G Five Cattle & Meats is committed to providing consumers with top-quality meats. Known as a family-oriented operation, this cattle farm is directly managed and operated by the owner Marvin Garrett and his family. Available from their shop are delectable cuts of Texas wagyu. All are graded accordingly, bred, and raised from specially curated genetics. Their meats are even rated at a 7 and, at times, a 10 when it comes to marbling grading.
